Adenoid cystic carcinoma is rare triple-negative breast carcinoma with solid, tubular, trabecular or cribriform (seen above) architecture. It consists of basaloid and epitheliod cells, and pseudolumens containing basement membrane material. MYB-NFIB gene fusion t(6:9) is also present in this tumor, similar to its salivary gland counterpart.
