This tumor is the most common kidney neoplasm and consist of cells with clear cytoplasm and delicate vessels. The tumor is graded using the ISUP grading system.
Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma
On higher magnification the tumor cells have an inconspicuous nuclei making it a grade 1. The tumor is positive for CD10, CAIX, vimentin and CK7 negative. The most common genetic abnormality found in clear cell renal cell carcinoma is the loss of chromosome 3p
