Merkel Cell Carcinoma

Merkel Cell Carcinoma (an aggressive primary cutaneous neuroendocrine carcinoma) with sheets of hyperchromatic tumor cells invading the dermis.

On high magnification, the tumor cells are hyperchromatic with high nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio and finely dispersed chromatin (salt & pepper)
