On low magnification this tumor consist of true papilla with fibrovascular cores containing foamy macrophages

The tumor cells are arranged as a single layer on the fibrovascular stalk and are small and cuboidal with low grade nuclei (Type 1). The tumor is positive for CK7 and AMACR and negative for CAIX
